PARISH BACKGROUND
Archangels Michael and Gabriel Orthodox Church (a mission of the Orthodox Church in America) occupies an ark-style facility constructed by a Romanian congregation in 1940. The practicing families petitioned membership in the OCA in 2004. Archangels Michael and Gabriel mission serves to support Christian life and arts in South Omaha and Bellevue in eastern Nebraska, and communities in western Iowa.
DIRECTIONS: From Nebraska Highway 75 ----
Exit onto Q St in South Omaha. Head west on Q to 33rd St. Turn left on to 33rd St. heading south 1 block to R St.The Church is in the middle of the block between 32nd and 33rd on R St. on the south side of the street.
